This Knowledge Base Article describes the use of the Loading Weight Dashboard in BlastIQ™ Insights.

Summary

BlastIQ™ Insights enables users to visualise the loading weight compliance of holes within a blast plan via the Loading Weight Dashboard.

Note: The old Single Blast Loading Weight Dashboards can be found under "Weight (classic)" and "Weight % (classic)".

To navigate to the Loading>Weight dashboard:

  1. From the BlastIQ™ Insights toolbar, select Dashboards.
  2. From the Dashboards menu, select Loading>Weight.
  3. Select the desired blast from the drop-down list. Type in to narrow down the list.

OR

  1. Right-click on a blast in Site Map.
  2. Select Loading>Weight.

Information

The following information is shown on the Loading Weight dashboard:

  1. Blast Name/Blast selector.
  2. Total number of holes.
  3. Colour Legend (underloaded/within tolerance/overloaded).
  4. Comparison options.
  5. Summary.
  6. Coloured Heatmap.
  7. Hole (hover over) information.
  8. Back to site map.
  9. Secondary indicator settings
  10. Layer manager.

View Settings

Secondary Indicator

  1. Click on the View options on the bottom left corner.
  2. Select from Comments, Wet or None.
  3. A secondary indicator is shown in the map.

Note: Available for single and multiple blasts.

Hole Name Labels

  1. Click on the View options on the bottom left corner.
  2. Select On.
  3. Hole Name labels will be displayed in the centre of each hole boundary.

Note: Available only for single blast.

Calculations
  • Comparison Options:
    • Design - Provides a view of of the actual recorded hole loading against the original loading design. Actual Hole Weight vs Design Hole Weight.
    • Adjusted Design - Provides a view of of the actual recorded hole loading against the latest adjusted loading design. Actual Hole Weight vs Adjusted Design Hole Weight.
    • Weight - Hole Compliance is based on the Weight (absolute) reporting tolerance.
    • Weight % - Hole Compliance is based on the Weight % reporting tolerance.

Note: All weight comparison are at hole level, i.e. aggregation of all explosives deck weights in a hole.

  •  Tolerances:
    • Weight and Weight % tolerances considered in this dashboard are the site level reporting tolerances. Read more here.
  • Compliance Score:
    • For any of the comparisons, the compliance score (%) is calculated as follows:
      Compliance Score (%) = 100*W/M
      where:
      W = within tolerance holes
      M = overloaded holes + underloaded holes + within tolerance holes
