This article describes how to enable a BlastIQ™ Licence for SHOTPlus™ Underground.

BlastIQ™ Licencing

BlastIQ™ licences are assigned to individual users, based on BlastIQ™ credentials. Each licence can only be used on a single machine at a time.

When utilising a BlastIQ™ Licence, applications receive a local activation that is valid for up to 30 days. This enables users to operate in an offline environment for up to 30 days. Within 30 days this activation must be renewed, or the local activation will expire and SHOTPlus™ will not launch.

  Information

 

  1. To activate SHOTPlus™ Underground using a BlastIQ™ licence, users must have SHOTPlus™ Underground 2.9.1, Beta 2.10.2 or later.
  2. To activate, or renew a BlastIQ™ licence, users must have valid BlastIQ™ credentials, have a licence assigned to their username, and have an internet connection.

Using a BlastIQ™ Licence

Switch an existing SHOTPlus™ Underground Licence to a BlastIQ™ Licence
  1. From the main menu in SHOTPlus™ Underground, select 'Help' > 'Activate BlastIQ licence'.

  1. Select 'Next'.

  1. Log in to BlastIQ™.

  1. Select the desired site from the list.
  2. Select 'Activate Licence'.

  1. Once SHOTPlus™ Underground has been successfully licenced, select 'OK'.

Licence new SHOTPlus™ Underground Installation with a BlastIQ™ Licence
  1. Launch SHOTPlus™ Underground.
  2. From the 'Application Licence Required' dialogue, select 'BlastIQ™ Licence'

  1. Select 'Next'.

  1. Log in to BlastIQ™.

  1. Select the desired site.
  2. Select 'Activate Licence'.

  1. Once SHOTPlus™ Underground has been successfully licenced, select OK. 

 

 

BlastIQ™ Licence Activations

Renew Activation

To renew a BlastIQ™ Licence:

  1. From the main SHOTPlus™ Underground menu, select 'Help' > 'About'.

  1. From the About dialog, select 'Renew Activation'.

  1. Log in to BlastIQ™

  1. SHOTPlus™ Underground will contact the BlastIQ™ server and request renewal of the licence activation.

  1. Once successful, select 'OK'.

Release Activation

To release a BlastIQ™ licence activation from the machine in use:

  1. From the main SHOTPlus™ Underground menu, select 'Help' > 'About'.

  1. From the 'About' dialogue, select 'Release Activation'

  1. Select either:
    1. 'Yes' - to release the current activation and close SHOTPlus™ Underground; or
    2. 'No' - to abort the release of the licence and return to the SHOTPlus™ Underground.

Licence Details

To access more details on the level of licence, enabled extensions, and expiration dates:

  1. From the main menu in SHOTPlus™ Underground, select 'Help' > 'About'.

  • Licence expires - Shows the expiry date for the SHOTPlus™ Underground Licence, based on the commercial agreement.
  • Activation expires - Shows the date the local activation will expire. This will auto-renew when launching SHOTPlus™ Underground or when the 'Renew activation' on the About dialogue is selected. Local activations are valid for a maximum of 30 days.
