BlastIQ™ Mobile - Drill Actuals Data Capture

Accessing drilling mode using search or filter function.

1. On the drill plans page, tap the search field. Type in the name of a plan on the filter plans.

2. Tap on the "Drill"

   

3. Then the drilling plan map appears.

   

Hole and Length Information

1. Tap on the drill button located in the top right-hand corner.

   

2. This will open up a dialog displaying relevant hole information, with the 'Holes' tab visible by default.

   • Design: Count of designed holes with the given diameter.
   • Drilled: Count holes with drilled or measured length or any other evidence the hole has been drilled (decks, actuals etc.).
   • Not Drilled: Count holes specifically marked as 'not drilled'.
   • To Drill: Count of designed holes that don't have any drilled or measured length or other evidence the hole has been drilled.
     • Designed holes marked not drilled do not count
   • To Redrill: Holes with the redrill_required flag & not in 'redrilOfId'. i.e. a hole that is short but is present in the redrillOf on another hole is not considered

   

3. To access information about the length, tap on the 'Length' tab, and relevant length information will be displayed.

   • Designed: Sum of design length for all holes of this diameter.
   • Drilled: Sum of drill actual meters for all holes of this diameter.
   • Not Drilled: Sum of design length meters for holes marked as not drilled for this diameter.
   • To Drill: Sum of design length meters for designed holes that have no evidence of being drilled.
     • Designed holes marked not drilled do not count.
   • To Redrill: Sum of design length meters for holes marked redrill_required.

   

1. Tap the "Diameter" icon in the top right-hand corner to show the diameter indicator.

   • By default, the toggle is set to Off. This will display a floating panel on the map, with the default position at the bottom of the map, showing the diameter indicator ring around each hole.

     

2. To close the panel user needs to tap the "Diameter' icon to toggle it off.

   

3. Tap the 'Bearing' icon to show the bearing indicator.
   • By default, the toggle for this feature is set to Off. Once the toggle is turned on, the map will display a bearing indicator ring for all holes with an angle other than 0°. It is important to note that the bearing is measured clockwise from North, with the North assigned a value of 0°.

   • A bearing in navigation is the direction to an object or location, expressed as degrees relative to a reference point or direction. The bearing to the object is determined by calculating the number of degrees clockwise from 000° (“True North“) to the object. Note that bearing and direction are not interchangeable terms. Bearing refers to the relationship between two locations, whereas direction refers to north, east, south and west.

     

4. To close the bearing indicator, tap the 'Bearing' icon again to toggle it off.

   

1. On the drilling map, tap a hole to access the drilling panel.
2. Filling in Hole Details.
   • Fill in the diameter of the hole if it deviates from the original design.
   • If a hole is angled, provide the Angle and Bearing for accurate measurements.

3. Tap the "Save" button to store the updated drilling information.  

   

1. Tap a hole.

2. Tap the Notes icon.

   

3. A modal will appear, click 'Add Comment'.

   

4. Select a pre-defined comments or manually add comment, tap the "OK" button.

   

5. Notes icon background colour changed to blue.  This blue colour serves as an indication that a note has been added.
