BlastIQ™ Mobile - Blast Files

Summary

BlastIQ Mobile now supports synchronising blast files to field device for offline access.  Users can view/download associated blast files for the plan and will be notified if no files are available.

Admin Portal Configuration
  1. Click the Required Blast Documentation menu.
  2. On the Required Blast Documentation page, you can either:

    • Select an existing defined document to edit, or
    • Click the "Add" button to create a new defined document.
  3. If editing a document, click the "Edit' button.

  4. On the document page, the "Enable Field Device Sync" option is turned off by default.  Check the checkbox to enable it.
    • Note: If ''Enable Field Device Sync" is disabled, files will not be visible in the BlastIQ Mobile.
  5. Click the 'Save' button when done.

BlastIQ™ Mobile
  • If the "Enable Field Device Sync" setting is disabled:
    • The user will not be able to view the blast files.

       

  • If the "Enable Field Device Sync"  setting is enabled:
    • Users can view/download associated blast files for the plan for offline access and will be notified if no files are available.

Synching a Blast File

  1. To view the blast files tap the Blast file button on either the Measurements page or the Drill Actuals page.

  2. In the Blast File List dialogue, tap the Sync button to start the file synchronisation.
  3. Tap the download icon to download a file.
  4. Tap the view (eye) icon to view a file.
  5. Tap the table header to sort files.

  6. Tap the 'View Last File" button to view the last opened document.

Important Notes

  • When turning the "Enable Field Device Sync" feature on or off via the admin portal, we advise restarting or refreshing the mobile application, as the changes may not take effect immediately.
  • Files can only be viewed in BlastIQ™ Mobile if their size is less than 20 MB.
