BlastIQ™ Mobile V1.30 introduces a refreshed visual experience with the addition of two new themes: Light and Dark. This update aligns the app with Orica Digital Solutions (ODS) design standards, improves accessibility for field users, and provides greater flexibility in how the application is displayed across a range of working environments.
What's New
Two new themes: Users can now choose between a Light theme and a Dark theme when using BlastIQ™ Mobile, giving field teams greater control over their display preferences.
WCAG-compliant contrast: The updated UI applies internationally recognised contrast standards ((WCAG 2.1, Success Criterion 1.4.3 – Contrast (Minimum)) to ensure the interface remains legible and usable across harsh field conditions, including bright sunlight and low-light environments.
ODS design alignment: The refreshed look and feel brings BlastIQ™ Mobile into visual consistency with other Orica field applications, delivering a more cohesive experience across the Orica Digital Solutions ecosystem.
How to Switch Themes
Users will be able to select their preferred theme in the app under Preferences.
- Tap the hamburger icon.
- Select Preferences.
- Toggle between Light or Dark.
