Field Device Live Tracking Site Configuration

KBA Summary:

This Knowledge Base Article outlines how to configure 'Field Device Live Tracking' settings within the BlastIQ™ Admin Portal. This setup is available to site administrators. A site must have an active BlastIQ™ Device Tracking license,  as well as Blast Control, for this feature to be enabled.

Configuration

In the BlastIQ™ Admin portal:

  1. Select the relevant site.
  2. Click "Location Tracking".
  3. Click Edit and tick "Enable Location Tracking".
  4. When the Enable Location Tracking pop-up appears, click the "Enable Tracking" button to proceed.
  5. Adjust the Location Tracking Exclusion Radius around Site Center as required.
  6. Click the "Save" button to apply the changes.

Notes:

  • When devices are outside of the Exclusion Radius, their location will not be shown on the 'Blast Progress' map.
  • Once Location Tracking is enabled for the site, the Field Device Tracking panel becomes available within the BlastIQ™ Insights - Blast Progress Dashboard.
