BlastIQ™ - How to configure "Required Blast Documentation"

Summary

The Required Blast Documentation Or a Job Pack consists of tasks, approvals and documents that are recorded during the blasting process.

You can configure the predefined blast documents for your site blasts that will show up in File Storage under Blast Files - Defined Documents Section in BlastIQ Insights.

Limits

You can have a maximum of 70 defined documents. with below upload limits

  • Maximum size of 1.0 GB per file.
  • Maximum 100 Blast files per blast

To configure Defined Documents please login to BlastIQ Admin.

  1. In the vertical menu on the left, select "Required Blast Documentation."
  2. Click "Add" to create a new document definition.

  3. Enter the Name and Description.  Select a template file, if needed.
  4. If you mark the documentation as Mandatory, users will be required to upload a file for this document.
  5. The "Enable Field Device Sync" option is turned off by default.  Check the checkbox to enable it.
    • If "Enable Field Device Sync" is disabled, files will not be visible in the BlastIQ Mobile.  Read more here.
  6. Once you are done click Save and repeat the process for more files.

  7. To edit the document, please select the document item from the list and click "Edit".
  8. To delete a document please click "Delete".

Note: This is a soft delete and you can restore the document any time in future.
