- KBA Summary:
This Knowledge Base Article describes the functionality of the Underground mode-based navigation.
Summary
The Underground workflow now uses a mode selector that presents contextual information for each activity mode. Users can choose between Drill, Prep, and Charge, with each mode displaying its relevant plan lists. Additionally, the selector accounts for both Development and Production activities, ensuring that operators view the correct context for their work.
Select a Mode
- A rationalisation of the available modes to be appropriate in an underground context has resulted in the creation of three distinct modes:
- Drill, Prep, and Charge
- Each mode is now visible after selecting a user, and the equipment list is then displayed.
- Selecting Drill or Prep opens the "Drill" or "Prep" blast lists page.
- Selecting Charge opens the Charging blast list page.
Equipment Selection
Simplifying the UX of nominating the equipment used as (generally) being a function of the mode selected. Of the mode selected dictates what type of equipment is to be used e.g. Drill is completed by a Production Drill, Prep may be completed with a Charge Cart/Wagon, therefore, triggering a new equipment selection each time a new mode is selected ensures that users are logging their activities against the appropriate asset.

Grouping and Ungrouping plans are visible in all modes.
