- SHOTPlus™ Variant:
- Surface
- Version:
- 6.6.8
- KBA Summary:
- This KBA describes how SHOTPlus™ users can import and Export loading information via the SHOTPlus™ Text Importer/Exporter.
Summary
SHOTPlus™ enables users to import and export loading information via text files.
The following loading information can be imported via the text importer:
- Design Loading.
- Actual Loading.
The following loading information can be exported via the text exporter:
- Design Loading.
- Updated Design Loading.
- Actual Loading.
- Design Loading:
- A blasthole's bulk explosive, and packaged explosive, loading design as applied to the blasthole when it was in it's original, design, state. This does not include any backfill decks, but can include inert decks that were originally part of the design. Design loading does not take into account any hole measurements added after a hole was designed, e.g. hole state, temperature, length.
- Updated Design Loading:
- A blasthole's bulk explosive, and packaged explosive, loading design applied to a blasthole once it has a measurement associated with it. Including, but not limited to: hole state, temperature, length.
- Actual Loading:
- Measured information that reflects the bulk explosives, packaged explosives, and inert decks that were loaded into a blasthole.
- Select File > Import > Text file.
- Select the file to import, by selecting the import button in the Text import dialog box and navigating to the file using windows explorer.
- Select the Blastholes import type.
- Select the correct decimal separator (000's).
- Select the correct Decimal place.
- Select the correct Delimiter that separates the data.
- Toggle between the desired field types using the tabs at the bottom of the Text import dialog box.
- Add the desired fields from each tab to the columns as appropriate. Fields can be added by either:
- Double-clicking individual headers; or
- Dragging individual fields, into the blank space.
- Use the Extract lines toggle to remove the header information from the text import.
- Ensure Update existing holes by ID is selected.
- To finish, select either:
- Import - To import the text file data; or
- Cancel - To close the Text import dialog box without adding data.
Information
Users can import multiple different data types in a single text import. E.g. users can import Design and Actual loading in a single text export.
To ensure SHOTPlus™can display loading information in a logical manner, validation has been put in place for all loading imports done via the text importer.
Hole Level Validation
When importing explosive decks via the text importer, users must define each deck beginning at Deck 1 to the last deck provided.
Information
For example, users may import Deck 1, Deck 2, Deck 3, and Deck 4. However, they may not provide only Deck 1 and Deck 3, as Deck 2 is missing; or only provide Deck 2, Deck 3, and Deck 4, as Deck 1 is missing.
Deck Level Validation
Backfill Decks
Backfill decks are imported as discrete, specific decks. They will always be located at the bottom of the blasthole after being imported.
To import a backfill deck the following information must be provided:
- Product - this must be an inert product (e.g. stemming or air).
- Length or Horizon.
Bulk Explosive Decks
Bulk explosive decks can be added to any deck in a hole between Deck 1 and Deck 12.
To import a bulk explosive deck the following must be provided:
- Product.
- Deck Number.
- Weight, length, horizon, or any combination of the three.
Packaged Explosive Decks
Packaged explosive decks can be added to any deck in a hole between Deck 1 and Deck 12.
To import a packaged explosive deck the following must be provided:
- Product.
- Deck Number.
- Length, horizon, quantity, or any combination of the three.
- Ensure the blastholes have a Design, an Updated design, or loading Actuals as applicable.
- Select File > Export > Text file.
- Select the required headers from the Text export dialog box. Headers can be added by either:
- Double-clicking individual headers; or
- Dragging individual fields, into the blank space.
- Toggle between the desired field types using the tabs at the bottom of the Text export dialog box.
- Add the desired fields from each tab. Fields can be added by either:
- Double-clicking individual fields, or top level fields; or
- Dragging individual fields, or top level fields, into the blank space.
- Select the desired delimiter for the information in the text file.
- To finish, select either:
- Export - to select the desired save location via windows explorer and save the text files; or
- Cancel - to cancel the export and close the Text export dialog box.
