Release Date:

19th December 2024

KBA Summary:

This Knowledge Base Article describes the functionality of the Underground Blast Progress dashboard in BlastIQ™ Insights.

Summary

BlastIQ™ Insights Underground Blast Progress Dashboard allows real-time monitoring of the Drill and Blast process, ensuring effective task management and preventing delays in scheduled blasts.  The dashboard is refreshed every 5 minutes and displays blasts from the past three days by default.  This covers blasts modified or created within the last three days using SHOTPlus™, BlastIQ™ Mobile, LOADPlus™, or the BlastIQ™ External API.

There might be a delay of up to 20 minutes for a new blast to appear on the dashboard. This delay is due to calculating the blast boundary performed at the database level.

Blasts can be filtered using the following filters:

  1. Days Selection:
    • Choose 1, 3, 7, 14, 30, 90, 120, and 365 from the dropdown list.
    • The selected value determines the number of displayed blasts with a maximum limit of up to 120 blasts and no hole limit.
  2. Blast Status Filter:
    • Select : All, Fired or Not Fired.
  3. Tags Filter:
    • Click on the Tags icon.
    • Select the desired tags from each category.
    • Click Apply to apply the filter criteria.
    • It will return the blasts containing the selected tags based on the following logic:
      • OR for tags within the same category.
      • AND for tags across categories.
    • Click on Clear and then Apply to clear all tags filters.
    • Click on the X on the top right to close the tags filter; any edits to the filter criteria will be lost if not previously applied. You can read more about Tags here.
  4. Clear All filters - clears any filters that have been applied.
  5. Last Refreshed:
    • The last refresh time will be displayed, and the data will auto-refresh every 5 minutes.
Plan Group Selector
  • When clicking the selector, a list of Plan Groups will appear. This selection will only include Plan Groups with blasts within the defined filters, as detailed in the previous section.
  • If the user types a string of characters within the text box of the selector, only the Plan Groups that include that string in their name will be shown.
  • Once a Plan Group is selected, the information in the dashboard will only show the totals and KPI for the blasts that belong to that Plan Group.
  • Multiple Plan Groups can be selected to display information relative to them.
  • Clicking a plan name applies the selected value to the text filter, resulting in the blast name list being filtered accordingly.
