Summary
BlastIQ™ Insights Underground KPIs Dashboard allows users to visualise the performance of their various KPIs over a specific period of time, encompassing a group of blasts.
KPIs Configuration and Management
Follow the steps below:
- In the Admin portal, click the "KPI Configuration" menu.
- Click "Add" to create a new KPI.
- Complete all the required fields with the necessary details.
- Click "Save" when done.
- Login to BlastIQ™ Insights and click the "Blast Management" menu.
- Choose a specific blast and navigate to the "KPIs" tab.
- Click "Edit" and input the desired values for the KPIs.
- Save your changes.
- Click the "Dashboards" menu and select "KPIs.
How to Configure and Enter Blast KPIs
Navigation
To navigate to the KPIs Dashboard:
- From the BlastIQ™ Insights toolbar, select Dashboards.
- From the Dashboards menu, select KPIs.
Filters
Blasts can be filtered using the following filters:
- Blast Name Search Filter:
- Type in the search box.
- Blasts shown are the ones containing the typed-in characters.
- Blast Status Filter:
- Select All, Fired or Not Fired.
- Date Range filter:
- Select Created or Fired Date.
- From and To fields are not mandatory.
- If the date range filter is not used, the blasts shown are the latest created/fired for the site.
- Maximum number of blasts shown is based on the Display Filter.
- Elevation filter:
- Choose a minimum and a maximum elevation.
- Select Collar or Grade.
- If an elevation filter is not used, the blasts show an elevation range.
- Maximum number of blasts shown is based on the Display Filter.
- Tags filter:
- Click on the Tags icon.
- Select the desired tags from each category.
- Click Apply to apply the filter criteria.
- It will return the blasts containing the selected tags based on the following logic:
- OR for tags within the same category.
- AND for tags across categories.
- Click on Clear and then Apply to clear all tags filters.
- Click on the X on the top right to close the tags filter; any edits to the filter criteria will be lost if not previously applied.

- Clear All filters - clears any filters that have been applied.
- Display selection:
- Choose 20, 30, 60, or 90 and Newest or Oldest blasts from the dropdown list.
- This dictates the limit of blasts shown from other filter criteria and whether these blasts are picked from oldest first or newest first.

The following information is shown on the Underground KPIs Dashboard:
- Filter Bar.
- KPI Selector.
- Table View.
- Summary.
- Percentages.
- Summary Statistics.
- Gradient.
- Bar chart.
Comprehensive information is provided in each section.
- Filter Bar:
- Use the Filter Bar to refine your search by applying multiple criteria.
- For comprehensive details, please navigate to the Filters section.
- KPI Selector:
- Only non-deleted KPIs will be visible in the drop-down list.

The configuration of the selected KPIs, including the colour palette used to code the recorded values, can be adjusted within the Admin Portal to personalise how each KPI is presented. More information on How to Configure and Enter Blast KPIs can be found below:
How to Configure and Enter Blast KPIs
- Table View:
- Click the 'Table View' button to access a table displaying relevant data.
- Use the search boxes to filter data, sort by clicking on column headers, and initiate a CSV file download by clicking the download button.

This section provides an overview of two key metrics:
- Total Number of Blasts that have been fired or created.
- Total Number of Holes.

This section provides an overview of two key metrics:
- Percentages:
- Ranges of Blast.
- Summary statistics:
- Maximum: The highest recorded value.
- Minimum: The lowest recorded value.
- Average = Total KPI Value / Number of Blasts
- Gradient:
- The colour palette and range limit are configured via the Admin portal.
- Bar chart:
- The X-axis shows the blasts, and the Y-axis shows the KPI name (unit).
- When you hover over a data point, it will display information such as the blast name, fired/created date and time, KPI name, and corresponding unit.
- The display is sorted by date, placing the oldest on the left and the newest on the right, depending on the filter criteria.
