This document outlines the system and network requirements for using the BlastIQ™ software, which is a digital platform used for managing blasting operations in the mining. It provides detailed information about the hardware, software, and network configurations required for optimal performance of the system.

BlastIQ™ Mobile
Hardware Operating System Network

Minimum requirements to operate the BlastIQ™ Mobile

  • Quad-core Intel Atom 1.33GHz processor (recommended Intel i5 processor or higher)
  • Minimum Hard Disk Drive space: 128GB available space
  • Memory: 4GB (recommended 8GB)
  • Screen resolution: 1280 x 800 or higher resolution with multi-touch
  • For optimum connectivity, is recommended that mobile devices are configured to both cellular and Wi-FI networks 
  • GPS Receiver (Required for GPS function to operate. To benefit from BlastIQ Mobile's accurate GPS capability (without a correction service) the hardware of choice will need to include a Ublox component (NEO M8 GNSS receiver module, or equivalent). It is highly recommended that the Ublox component has been included with the device by the OEM reseller. The recommended device for this capability is the Panasonic Toughpad FZ.)
BlastIQ™ Mobile Lite

Minimum requirements to operate the BlastIQ™ Mobile Lite

  • Processor: Minimum 2.0 GHz quad-core processor.
  • RAM: Minimum 4GB RAM.
  • Minimum 300MB of free storage space.
  • Minimum 6.5-inch screen with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels (HD). 10-inch for better user experience and faster workflows.
SHOTPlus™

Minimum requirements to operate the SHOTPlus™

  • RAM: 4 GB
  • Graphics: OpenGL v2.0 (v1.5 will work but performance will be degraded)
BlastIQ™ Insights
Network

Minimum requirements to operate the BlastIQ™ Insights

  • Internet Connection (Minimum 5Mbps up/down, 500ms latency measured to Singapore)
  • Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge
