- SHOTPlus™ Variant:
- Surface
- Version:
- >6.22.1 and above
- KBA Summary:
- This KBA outlines how users can access a country based product list in SHOTPlus™ in 6.22.1 and greater.
Introduction
In version 6.20.2, SHOTPlus™ migrated the product database to the BlastIQ™ platform. This change required users to retrieve products from a site based list, managed through the BlastIQ™ Admin portal. User feedback indicated that using a site based list is not always possible or appropriate.
This document describes how to access a country based list in the following applications:
- SHOTPlus™, versions 6.22.1 and greater.
- SHOTPlus™ Underground, to be advised.
- SHOTPlus™ Tunnel, to be advised.
Previous behaviour
The workflows are described in the Resolving unsupported products and Adding products to a new file articles. The key points are:
- When creating a new blank SHOTPlus™ file, users were being prompted to select a BlastIQ™ site to retrieve products from, or use only the default products (air, stemming and backfill).
- Users were required to select a BlastIQ™ site to retrieve products from.
- BlastIQ™ site product lists had to be managed through the BlastIQ™ Admin portal.
New behaviour
- On install of SHOTPlus™, users will be prompted to select a country which SHOTPlus™ will use to retrieve a product list.
- When creating a new blank SHOTPlus™ file, SHOTPlus™ will load the product list associated with the country selected by the user on install. Users will be able to use all products available in the selected country. Users will no longer be prompted to select a BlastIQ™ site on start-up.
- Country based products lists do not require user management. If a product is not available on the country product list, please contact BlastIQ™ Support.
- Country lists will be cached for switching in an offline environment. Users must be connected to the internet to import a country list for the first time, after which it will become available in an offline environment. Users are still able to switch BlastIQ™ site product lists in an offline environment.
Users can change the country by navigating to Edit > Available Resources and selecting the "Change product list source" button.
Select the required country from the drop-down list, and confirm changes by clicking "Select".
SHOTPlus™ will import the products for the selected country and return the user to the Available Resources dialog box.
Users can filter the country product list by choosing a site based in the selected country. Navigate to Edit > Available Resources and selecting the "Change product list source" button.

When opening an existing file created in versions prior to 6.20.2, users are prompting to resolve the unsupported products within the file. The workflow described in the Resolving unsupported products article is still applicable, however users are now be able to select a country product list or a BlastIQ™ site list to resolve unsupported products.
SHOTPlus™ will cache country and BlastIQ™ site product lists on the user's device and they will be available to select from when in an offline state.

Users will then be able to select from a list of cached country or BlastIQ™ site product lists to load.
Information
Users must log into BlastIQ™ at least once to create a cached country or site product list for offline use.
