We are happy to announce SHOTPlus™ Public Beta. The public beta makes SHOTPlus™ Beta version available to any customer who wishes to use the latest and greatest version, get access to the latest bug fixes, newest features and helps us to build the best SHOTPlus possible.
What can I do?
If you are a licenced user of SHOTPlus™, you may now simultaneously install and use a Beta (test) version of SHOTPlus™. The SHOTPlus™ Beta version will update more frequently than production and contain features and bug fixes before they are released.
What’s the catch?
When you are using SHOTPlus Beta™, you are getting the latest but not necessarily greatest code possible! While you will get bug fixes and features faster, you may also experience more crashes and instability. You also may get occasional incompatibility with other production applications you use, such as BlastIQ™, and SHOTPlus™.
The good news is we will certainly still support you when you are using SHOTPlus™ Beta, but we can’t promise you won’t lose data or have a file corrupted from time to time.
How do I get involved?
You can download the SHOTPlus™ Beta version that matches your existing SHOTPlus licence using the links on the Software Downloads page.
What do I do if I have problems?
We would love to hear from you quickly if you experience problems using SHOTPlus™ Beta so that we can improve the software. Please create a support ticket or email blastiqsupport@orica.com and tell us that you are a SHOTPlus™ Beta user.
What if I’m already a SHOTPlus™ Beta user?
For many years, a number of dedicated Orica engineers around the world have helped to make SHOTPlus™ better for all users by using Beta versions of the software and providing feedback and finding issues prior to release. We would like to thank you for your dedication and support and invite you to continue using SHOTPlus™ Beta.
