- Application:
- BlastIQ™ Underground Desktop
- Version:
- 1.2.9 and above
- KBA Summary:
- This article describes how to import CSVs generated by Deswik.
Introduction
BlastIQ™ Underground Desktop can now import CSVs generated by Deswik without the need for user manipulation to account for multiple explosive decks. BlastIQ™ will import blast hole design and loading design from the CSV.
Requirements
In order to import a Deswik CSV into BlastIQ™ Underground Desktop:
- The product names used in Deswik must match the product names in BlastIQ™ Underground.
- If product names contain special characters (e.g. Subtek™ 0.8), the file will need to be saved as a UTF8 CSV.
Instructions
To import a Deswik CSV:
- Navigate to Project > Import > Deswik Blast CSV.
- Select "Browse" to select the CSV file from the browser dialog.
- Once the file is selected, select "Open".
- If the file has been parsed successfully, a message will appear and the "Import" button will become available. Select "Import" to import the file.
- The blast will appear in the main window, and there will be a blast object in the Project Manager.
- Navigate to the "Data Table" for the new blast object by clicking on the folder icon.
- The blast name field will be empty. Enter a name for the blast that has been imported.
- The blast can now be exported to BlastIQ™, by selecting the "Push" button in the BlastIQ™ menu in the data table.
