September

Update September 2020

Design Bulk Quantity Path Preview:

  • When a path is defined in the map view, a breakdown of the required bulk products will be displayed in the side panel.
  • The number of bulk products required for the selected holes is displayed in brackets next to the

Design Loading Preview:

  • When a path is defined, an option is available to preview the design loading for the selected holes.
  • The number of holes selected for the path can be seen in brackets next to the list of holes selected. Further information can be found here

Improved Filtering:

  • Improvements have been made for filtering in both the map and list views. Multiple filters can be selected from the dialogue box.
  • Additional filters have been added for the number of bulk product decks. Further information can be found here

Drilled Status & As Drilled Data Display:

  • A drilled status icon has been introduced as part of this release.

  • With the ability to import as drilled data into the system, improvements have been made to indicate if a value is a drill actual value or a drill adjusted design value.

Display If Holes are Overloaded/Under loaded :

  • Previous functionality had a pre-defined value of +/- 10% to trigger the under or overloading warning for weight on a deck. New functionality has been added where a site defined value can be set in the admin portal to trigger the warning.

Accessories Export:

  • The csv export from Mobile had been updated to include an export for accessories. When you select the export button, three files will be downloaded (bulk product, hole level accessories and plan level accessories).

Other Features:

  • Updates to buttons in the UI
  • Addition of the count of the number of holes included in a path in the set path side panel 
  • Inclusion of 'dewatered' as a pre-defined comment
  • Improvements to the Map View to prevent the zoom changing when you switch views.

Capture temperature:

  • Capture temperature against each hole
  • Information is sent back to SHOTPlus to apply loading rules

Expand/Collapse Button:

  • Expand/collapse button has been included on the charging panel to quickly expand the hole diagram when decks are stacked in a complex blast situation. This button expands the diagram to where no deck cards are stacked.

Layout & UI Updates:

  • Data capture fields have been updated to combine the design and actual in one field for Hole Depth and Diameter. Design values are in italics.

  • Updates to the icon for the charging panel to indicate how to open and close the panel. The cross has been removed from the corner of the charging panel and instead to close the panel users need to click on the charging icon again.

  • Updates to how to access the more options for each hole. Arrow on the right hand opens the panel on both the list view and the charging panel.

  • Holes added on the device are identified by a green strip on the left of the row instead of a different font size

Keypad Update:

  • Update to the colour scheme on the keypads for easier viewing in the outdoors, and to better identify which field is selected.

  • Increase the supported number of strata intercepts from 12 to 24

  1. Keyboard cursor stops moving after "-" is typed
  2. Stacked deck label doesn't return to the selected deck after data is entered against it
  3. Trying to add a hole with greater than 8 characters causes an invalid state

Update 23 of April 2020

Display more information associated with a blasthole:

  • Clicking the more options in the list view will display more information associated with a blasthole (hole type, material type, coordinates)
  • More information will also be displayed when adding a hole on the device (this relates to additional functionality mentioned further down).

Preview next hole:

  • Within the charging panel, users can preview the next blast hole and record QA measurements against it. This feature will enable users who don't have LOADPlus trucks to streamline their loading process.

Increase in screen area in list view:

  • Modifications have been made to the list view to increase the available space in the list so that more than 3 lines are visible on a tablet.

Full screen map view:

  • Users will have the option to expand the map view to take up the whole screen area using the expand button on the map.

Copy of functionality:

  • When adding a hole in the field, users can select to copy parameters from an existing design blasthole (material type, hole type, elevation, diameter).
  • Loading rules will apply to field added holes when the copy of functionality is used
  • Existing add hole functionality has been maintained

  2. Total number of holes in the blast progress not updating when holes deleted in SHOTPlus and plan is re-exported to BlastIQ

Update to Hole Diagram:

  • Zoom feature has been introduced on both the design and actual side of the charging panel
  • Decks on the diagram itself can be selected in a stacked product card scenario to bring that card to the top of the stacked deck.

  1. Error value not being rounded to 1 decimal place in the deck edit key pad
  2. Jumping hole diagram on the charging panel
  3. Need to enter data multiple times in the charging panel.

  1. Removal of the option to turn on swipe to create a path and the north indicator - these will now be available at all times
  2. Removal of the diagram on the actual side of the diagram when an invalid design message is returned on the design side
  3. Addition of a "no content" message for the drill plan page when no plans are available on BlastIQ Mobile.
  4. Snackbar modified to allow for longer messages
  5. Removal of the message on the drill plan page for the removal of blasts from the device
  6. Any inferred/calculated values are now hidden from view.

Update to .NET Framework:

Improved Navigation to Charging Panel:

  • A setting has been included in the map setting options to allow users to choose to navigate directly from the map to the charging panel of the selected hole. Closing the charging panel brings the user back to the map view.

Software Opens as an Application:

  • The BlastIQ Mobile software has been packaged to look like an application
  • When the software is started, it will open in full screen mode
  • Closing the application will now close the command window in the background

Improved Exit Option:

  • Introduction of an Exit option in the main menu. Selecting this option will exit the software.  
  • Removal of the Shutdown and Restart options from the main menu.

Improved Display of Error Messages and Notifications:

  • Messages and Notifications have been moved to a message drawer
  • New messages will slide out from the right side of the screen and will remain for a short period of time. They will then be available in the message drawer
  • Information messages can be cleared, notifications (backfill or redrill) will remain in the drawer until all actions have been addressed.

  • More filter options have been included for both the list and map views

Changes to the Hole Diagram:

  • The horizon/depth to top of deck field has been moved from the left hand side of the diagram and is now available in the deck card. This has been replaced by a ruler on the left hand side of the diagram.
  • The diameter has been removed from the bottom of the diagram on both the design and actual side as this is available at the top of the charging panel
  • Water is displayed on the left hand side of the diagram on the actual side of the charging panel
  • The diagram is now scaled so that it appears on one page rather than having to scroll the diagram

  • For multi-deck scenarios where there are smaller decks, the product cards will stack on top of each other. The product cards can be swiped or tapped to move to the next card. The bottom most deck in the hole has it's product card displayed first. The selected deck is highlighted by the black line to the right of the deck.

  • Deck warnings for over/under loaded now appear in place of the pencil on the product card rather than beside it. Users can still interact with this button to edit the actual deck information if required.

  • If a hole has shrunk to zero length, it will be indicated by a red line, and when this deck is selected in a stack of product cards, it will be highlighted by a red triangle next to the red line.

Improved Display of Error Messages in the Deck Edit Keypad

  • A warning icon is displayed next to the field that has the error message
  • Click on the warning icon to view what the associated error message is

  1. Updates to Portuguese translations
  2. Inclusion of more pre-defined comments: Angle, Fault, Pre-gassed stemming, Gas Bag, Overdrilled, Redrilled
  3. Updated buttons for filter, sort, set path, add deck - the text has been removed
  4. Removal of the username from the top header bar and the associated option to logout - this information and option is available in the main menu
  5. Updated workflow for "add deck" - users are now required to add the information for the deck before it is added to the diagram or list view for the hole
  6. Improvements to the deck edit keypad to show a disabled state 
  7. Changes to top stemming deck - the top stemming deck on the actual side of the charging panel will recalculate based on the information entered for the deck below. This will pre-fill the deck edit keypad, however users will still be able to edit this value.
  8. Updates to the export
