Updates to BlastIQ™ Insights released on 2023 bring in new features, improvements and bug fixes. For further information, please contact BlastIQ™ Support at support.blastiq.com.

December

Update 4th of December 2023

  Improved

  1. Updated BlastIQ Volume Calculation to achieve consistency with SHOTPlus in scenarios where hole lengths vary in length. Read more here.
    Note: Only newly created or modified blasts will be considered for this updated calculation, if a plan requires reprocessing, please contact BlastIQ Support.

Update 27th of November 2023

  Fixed

  1. Removed "Holes blocked" for open-cut sites in the Overview Dashboard.
  2. Resolved an issue in the drilling and loading quantities dashboard where a null volume in one of the blasts would result in a blank page. The fix ensures that the dashboards will still be displayed even if the volume is null.

    • The chosen KPI consistently appears accurately, whether you modify filter selections, navigate to different dashboards, or return to the KPIs dashboard.

    • Bar plot: Blasts are now sorted by date, with the oldest on the left and the newest on the right, depending on the top filter criteria.
    • Summary Statistics: The maximum and minimum KPI values are now correctly reflected.

    •  A new checkbox has been introduced to filter and display only blasts with Dig data. This checkbox is enabled by default, ensuring only blasts with relevant Dig data are included in the displayed results. Read more here.
  2. Fragmentation Performance, Regression Analysis and Regression Analysis (multi-blast) dashboards.
    • Changed the unit for fragmentation size from 'm' to 'mm'.

  2. Expansion of Hole Type Tolerances - BlastIQ Insights now supports hole type over and under tolerances for Loading Weight (absolute and percentage) and Final Stemming Length.
    These are visible in the hole hover over in the corresponding dashboards.
    Where hole type tolerances are non existent, the dashboards will fall back to evaluate based on the site level reporting tolerance. SHOTPlus will allow these tolerances to be set in an upcoming release.
