Changes to our support policy

From 27th March 2024, significant changes will be made to how SHOTPlus™ is supported. Only the latest versions of SHOTPlus™, SHOTPlus™ Tunnel, and SHOTPlus™ Underground will be supported. However, when a new version is released, the previous version will continue to be supported for a period of 60 days to allow sufficient time for updates to be actioned.

Benefits of utilising minimum support requirements

Establishing minimum support requirements enables more effective prioritisation and utilisation of SHOTPlus™ support and development resources. It also ensures that users are getting the best SHOTPlus™ experience and benefiting from all the upgrades the SHOTPlus™ suite has released.

Why is keeping up to date with program updates important?

By keeping up to date with program updates, users will:

  • Gain access to new functionality and features

  • Benefit from the latest bug fixes

  • Maintain BlastIQ™ ecosystem compatibility, which includes licensing, product management and loading rules.

What does this mean for users?

There are no changes to the current support request process. However, BlastIQ™ support agents will now be confirming what version users are reporting issues for against this policy. If an unsupported version is being used, the user will be directed to upgrade to the supported version.

What versions are supported?

As of 27th March 2024, the following version numbers are considered the supported version. This applies until a new version is released, where there is then a grace period of 60 days before the previous version is no longer supported.

  • SHOTPlus™ Surface Beta 6.19.3

  • SHOTPlus™ Surface 6.18.3

  • SHOTPlus™ Underground Beta 2.6.11

  • SHOTPlus™ Underground 2.7.1

  • SHOTPlus™ Tunnel Beta 2.21.9

  • SHOTPlus™ Tunnel 2.22.2
