Summary
This guide can be used to help troubleshoot syncing issues with BlastIQ Mobile tablets in cradles.
Initial Check
Checking the Advanced Wi-Fi Adapter Settings in Windows 10.
- In the Search box, type Device Manager.
- Touch or click Device Manager (Control Panel).
- In the Device Manager window, touch or click the arrow sign next to Network Adapters.
- Double-tap or double-click the Intel Wi-Fi, Intel PRO, Wireless or Centrino listing.
- Touch or click the Advanced tab.
Note: Depending on the Wireless Adapter installed, some of these options may not be available.
- Set Roaming aggressiveness to highest.
- Ensure sleep on WLAN disconnect is disabled.
- Set Throughput booster to enabled.
- Set Transmit power to highest.
Quick Check
Turn the Wi-Fi off and on using the windows soft key in the notifications panel. This can force the device to carry out a network search and connect to the strongest signal in the area.
BlastIQ Check: Restart BlastIQ to reinitiate symbiote.
Cradle Check
Unplug network cable from toughpad cradle. Ensure contacts are clean reseat/re-plug cable into socket.
