  New

Underground

  1. MultiPass Drilling.  Read more here.

    • As part of the underground drill and blast workflow, it is common for multiple drill passes to be completed on a single hole to achieve design specifications (e.g. reaming) or as a result of completing remedial activities (e.g. cleanouts).  BlastIQ™ Mobile has introduced the capability to capture all forms of drilling, better reflecting the real-world environment, improving visibility of a site's production drilling fleet, and easing reporting.

    IMPORTANT

MultiPass Drilling requires all devices assigned to the site to be running BlastIQ™ Mobile v1.30 or later. If any device on the site is running a version earlier than v1.30, the Enable Drill Pass Capture setting cannot be enabled.

  2. Record Temperature and Water.  Read more here.
    • Functionality already available in the Surface version has now been extended to Underground, allowing users to record the depth to water in a hole, as well as the temperature, improving QAQC workflows and enabling the use of advanced blasting solutions (such as 4D).

Shared

  1. Two-Way Document Sync.  Read more here.

    • Critical documentation is frequently passed between Technical and Operational teams to provide direction to achieve the mine schedule.  To enhance this workflow, BlastIQ™ Mobile now allows users in the field to annotate and complete PDFs in the field, improving collaboration, reducing reliance on paper-based workflows, and providing a digital record of completed documentation.

    IMPORTANT

Devices running BlastIQ™ Mobile v1.29.111 or earlier cannot view annotated files within BlastIQ™ Mobile. Annotated files remain available in Insights. Users are encouraged to update to the latest version to access this functionality.
  2. Theming.  Read more here.
    • The BlastIQ™ Mobile app has been brought into alignment with the latest Orica field device design systems, bringing a refreshed and refined experience for our users.

  Improved

Shared

  1. Honour "Enable cavities" site setting.

    IMPORTANT

Cavity capture requires all devices assigned to the site to be running BlastIQ™ Mobile v1.29 or later.  If any device on the site is running a version earlier than v1.29, the Enable Cavity Capture setting cannot be enabled.

  2. GPS tracking indicator and information.
  3. Prevent site switching when unsynced file exist.
    • Users are prevented from switching sites when unsynced files or events are present, helping ensure data is synchronised before changing sites.

Underground

  1. Holes that are reused are now marked with a "Reused" tag.
  2. Checked holes with no measurement now show a glyph instead of '--'.
  3. Read-only view to notes and cavities for fired plan.
