  New

Underground

  1. MultiPass Drilling.  Read more here.
    • As part of the underground drill and blast workflow, it is common for multiple drill passes to be completed on a single hole to achieve design specifications (e.g. reaming) or as a result of completing remedial activities (e.g. cleanouts).  BlastIQ™ Mobile has introduced the capability to capture all forms of drilling, better reflecting the real-world environment, improving visibility of a site's production drilling fleet, and easing reporting.
  2. Record Temperature and Water.  Read more here.
    • Functionality already available in the Surface version has now been extended to Underground, allowing users to record the depth to water in a hole, as well as the temperature, improving QAQC workflows and enabling the use of advanced blasting solutions (such as 4D).

Shared

  1. Two-Way Document Sync.  Read more here.
    • Critical documentation is frequently passed between Technical and Operational teams to provide direction to achieve the mine schedule.  To enhance this workflow, BlastIQ™ Mobile now allows users in the field to annotate and complete PDFs, enhancing bi-directional communication and providing the familiar flexibility of a paper-based system.
  2. Theming.  Read more here.
    • The BlastIQ™ Mobile app has been brought into alignment with the latest Orica field device design systems, bringing a refreshed and refined experience for our users.
