SHOTPlus™

April, 2026

Version 6.26.1 of SHOTPlus™, first offered to users on Tuesday, 28th April 2026.

For further information on updating SHOTPlus™, please contact the BlastIQ™ Support Team via support.blastiq.com.

New
  1. SHOTPlus™ now supports improved management of Dry, Wet, and Damp charging profiles through enhanced profile and loading-rule capabilities. This release removes the need for manual per‑hole profile edits by allowing multiple profile loading rules to be defined and automatically applied based on hole conditions. Read more here
  2. Added SHOTPlus™ Blast Report Wizard to generate customizable blast reports in PDF or print format.1
  3. Beta Reminder & Acknowledgement: Added user acknowledgement workflow and a 30-day reminder feature.
  4. SHOTPlus™ now retains original product names for deleted products during plan import and appends “(deleted)” to indicate their status, ensuring accurate historical design representation. 2

  5. New Report Added: Introduced AUSQC & NZ Blast Classification Form 2025 for compliance with updated documentation standards. 3

  Information

  1. Users can include secondary logos, detailed blast properties, and outcome summaries for comprehensive reporting. Please see this KBA SHOTPlus™ Blast Report.
  2. Import process updated to include products flagged as isDeleted=True, preventing default replacement with “Air.”
  3. Revised blast class labels in SHOTPlus™ print reports from numeric (3–6) to alphabetical (A–D).

Improved
  1. The resource selection dialogue has been improved for greater clarity. Users can now choose either a Country-based product list or a Site-based product list.
  2. Removed CEIP Acknowledgement from SHOTPlus™ to align with platform-level acknowledgements.
  3. Updated EBS programming summary Timestamp display to 24-Hour Format: All timestamps in SHOTPlus™ will now display in 24-hour format for consistency and clarity.
  4. Updates to hole order in print reports: Ensures that hole IDs are displayed in the correct order in all relevant print reports.
  5. Addressed long startup times under certain network conditions.
  6. Updated the WebGen™ Encoding report to display both Blast Name and Blast Number from the Project Header. Blast identification details are now clearly shown on the WebGen™ Encoding report for all projects.
  7.  In-app support: Removed the Unknown value from Ticket Type to improve clarity in support requests.
For guidance on submitting bug reports directly from SHOTPlus™, please refer to this Knowledge Base Article.
  8. Blast Classification Update: Revised blast class labels in SHOTPlus™ print reports from numeric (3–6) to alphabetical (A–D) across
    • Blast Summary Report,
    • Evaluation Report,
    • Survey Set Out, and
    • Job Pack Cover Label.
  9. Tagged Line Text Alignment Fix: Corrected the display of rotated text in the Tagged Line View Object in Hole Measurement Tool, ensuring text remains centered along line segments when the view is rotated. Tagged line text now stays properly aligned after adding measurements to the plan and rotating the blast view.
  10. Improved Dummy Hole Handling: Dummy holes created by the Fill Polygon Tool are now placed in a new “Connection Points” layer under Blast Holes, improving clarity and organization.
  11. Row Count Accuracy: Row count now excludes dummy holes, ensuring accurate reporting and backward compatibility.
  12. AVM Domain download now excludes deleted POIs, ensuring removed monitoring points do not appear in SHOTPlus after import.
  13. Improved In-app support files and screenshot handling for ticket creation.

  Information

  1. Available as “V3” and “2025” appended to report names in Report Manager.

Fixed
  1. Fixed application becoming unresponsive when importing site products in certain scenarios.
  2. Addressed a bug where expanding a surface to a polygon could create an infinite surface.
  3. Fixed an issue where the Line Offset tool could draw offsets in the opposite direction to the cursor when used on simple straight-line segments. The Line Offset tool now behaves consistently for straight lines, matching the cursor direction and improving reliability when offsetting design geometry.
  4. Fixed an issue where holes added to an existing row did not receive BlastIQ™ measurements after import in a certain scenario. Measurements are now correctly applied to both original and newly added holes when importing from BlastIQ™.
  5. Fixed an issue where spacing in the Standard Pattern tool was not updated when changing hole types. Spacing is now correctly sourced from the selected hole type data when applying hole types.
  6. Fixed an error that occurred when opening the BlastIQ™ comments dropdown for holes not synced with BlastIQ™ Cloud. The Add button is no longer shown for non‑synced holes.
  7. Fixed an issue with importing .IKN files into SHOTPlus™ did not load the full set of loggers for Blaster 2. The import process now correctly maps and loads all associated loggers, removing the need for manual re‑creation after import.
  8. IREDES Quality file imports now complete successfully without errors.
  9. Fixed an issue where the EBS Programming Window displayed primer depth values in metric units despite the SHOTPlus™ file being set to Imperial units. Depth values are now consistently shown in feet when Imperial display units are selected, ensuring clarity during WebGen programming.
  10. Fixed an issue where the “All” checkbox in the EBS Exceptions Visibility Manager did not perform any action when selected. Users can now select “All” to view all EBS exceptions as expected.
  11. SHOTPlus™ now supports importing plans from BlastIQ™ where holes were created on bench and do not have a design. Previously, these plans failed to import. The updated workflow ensures deleted products are handled correctly, improving compatibility and data integrity during plan import.
  12. Powder Factor (PF) values now correctly display for Hole Type 1 / Front Row holes in Blast Loading Sheets and Analytics View after Boretrak data is applied.
  13. Undo action now fully clears dummy holes created outside the polygon when using the Fill Polygon tool.
  14. Users can now select polylines even when the Analytics View window is open, resolving previous selection issues.
  15. Opening the Front Row Volume View in a blank file no longer causes an unhandled exception.
  16. Removed AVI recording functionality from Visualise Timing to prevent corrupted file exports and improve stability.
  17. The EBS Time Set tool now applies timing only to selected holes, resolving the issue where deselected holes were incorrectly updated.
  18. Loading tables now correctly update Length Range and Edit Diameter fields for both Imperial and Metric units, with support for three decimal places.
  19. Hole diameter in Imperial units can now be set to user-defined values (e.g., 7.875 inches) without reverting to incorrect defaults.
  20. The Line Offset tool now works in both directions, resolving a previous limitation that limited it to one direction.
  21. Signal tube travel time is now correctly included in blast timing calculations, restoring functionality for accurate delay adjustments. 1

  Information

  1. Ensure product data is refreshed to apply the fix:
    • Country data updates automatically on startup.
    • Site data updates after uploading/downloading a plan from BlastIQ or by using Refresh Product Data.
    • Travel time is included in firing times unless “Use nominal time only” is selected.
    • There is no separate option for tube delay in nominal times; timing calculations handle it automatically when nominal-only is not ticked.
