BlastIQ™ Underground Desktop - Grouping blasts

Application:

BlastIQ™ Underground Desktop

Version:

1.4.1 and above

KBA Summary:

This KBA will explain how users can add a blast group label to new or existing blasts using BlastIQ™ Underground Desktop.

Introduction

In underground drill and blast design and execution, it is helpful to be able to group blast plans into a category to help identify and organise them. For example, blasts may be grouped into a stope (Diagram 1) or each sub-level cave ring will be grouped to the drive that they are located in.

Diagram 1: An example showing how blasts might be grouped into stopes.
