Version 6.9.3 of SHOTPlus™, first offered to users on Monday 21st February 2022.
A notification will appear on start-up in SHOTPlus™ once the update is available. We hope this will enable customers to perform the update without assistance from a BlastIQ™ specialist.

  New

Print Functionality1

  1. Ability to adjust the print area from the main scene explorer.
  2. Title box is resized automatically based on existing text.
  3. Ability to add a North Arrow to the print output.
  4. Print dialog settings are now maintained when printing multiple different views.
  5. Ability to toggle between landscape and portrait printing.
  6. Added print elements to the print area indicator on the main scene explorer.
  7. Ability to toggle logos on or off.

BlastIQ™

  1. Ability to import the hole positions of open blasts from BlastIQ™.

Blast Design and Review

    1. Ability to compare 'Design' or 'Actual' hole track using the Hole Measurement Tool.
    2. Strata Definition view added to Analytics View, enable users to visualise Strata as defined by Strata Rules.
    3. New Markout Report (SHOTPlus™ Blast Markout (first location)) based on first position vs. updated design position where holes have been spotted-in on-bench.
    4. Registered face surfaces can now be viewed as a burden heatmap 2.
    1. Resection report available when importing survey data via the Laser Wizard 3.
    2. Improved resection calculation (Resection (beta)) added when importing via the Laser Wizard.

Fragmentation Prediction Tool

      1. Added the ability to export curves for all holes.
      2. Results made available for reporting.
        1. Hole level percentage passing.
        2. Blast level percentage passing.
        3. Hole level size passing.
        4. Blast level size passing.
      3. Graphing tool can now be set to snap to X Axis or Y Axis values.
      4. Ability to fix the minimum and maximum colours range in the results map.

Other New Features

        1. New flag types added to Visibility Manager:
          1. Hole Type.
          2. Material Type.
          3. Electronic Blasting System Exceptions.
        2. Reinstated Volume Wizard Tool.
        1. Not Drilled and Abandoned hole counts added to the Quantities Calculation.
        2. WebGen™ DRX and Detonator IDs are now searchable in SHOTPlus™ when imported from an LGF file.

  Information

    1. Improved print functionality is available by selecting 'Print (new)' when printing a plan in SHOTPlus™.
    2. Turned on via Edit Surface dialog box. Surface needs to be the registered face surface, and must be set to 'Rendered' display mode.
    3. Report accessed from the 'Locate Instrument' dialog when using the Laser Wizard. Location of instrument must have been completed prior to running the report. Report will no longer be available once the Laser Wizard is closed. Future iterations will make this report available after import.

  Improved

  1. Enabled Undo and Redo buttons when using the Add Row to Baseline and Add Independent Row tools.
  2. Find Holes dialog is now placed in the top left-hand corner of the scene explorer.
  3. Distances for charge calculations in the Time Envelope Tool are now based on the centre of the charge, rather than the collar location of the blasthole.
  4. EBS Adjust Intervals Tool now maintains previously set burden relief where possible.
  5. Strata surface creation optimised.
  6. Adjusted name of Edit Deck Measurements dialog.
  7. Abandoned and Not Drilled holes can now be shown or hidden in Analytics View when using collar indicators.
  8. Warning added when opening the Exclusion Zone Tool.
  9. Users can now interact with the main scene explorer when using the Add Pattern, Add Independent Row, and Add Row to Baseline tools.
  10. Added the ability to apply a WebGen™ encoder to a single hole 1.
  11. Exports to i-kon Loggers blocked where surface EBS detonators are present to prevent 'Internal Exceptions' on loggers.
  12. Profile Tool Workbox - 'Table View' now shows all burden values.

  25. Advanced Vibration Modelling (AVM™) submissions or Monte Carlo vibration predictions can now include dummy holes, 'Abandoned' holes, and 'Not Drilled' holes.

    3. Row View can be set to show the spacing between holes in a row at defined distances.
  45. Hole Measurement Tool can now be set to default to 'Design' or 'Actual'.
  46. STR files without explicit string number can now be imported into SHOTPlus™.
  47. When importing using the 'Beta Resection' option in the Laser Wizard, the added Face Station object can now be used to view resection data and generate a Resection Report.

  Information

    1. To apply a WebGen™ encoder to a single hole, select the hole with the encoder path tool open, right-click, and select 'Connect single hole only'.
    2. Not Drilled or Abandoned holes can be displayed based on the specific view property by selected 'Show Not Drilled/Abandoned holes' from the top Analytics View toolbar.
    3. Variable decks cannot be specified where the hole was originally loaded with a rule based on strata positions.
    4. Previously SHOTPlus™ reported the first predicted vibration waveform regardless of the peak.
    5. When Automatically re-apply loading rules is turned on, the following behaviour has been implemented:
      1. Holes that are exported to BlastIQ™ as Manually Edited holes will no longer have rules automatically applied when importing from BlastIQ™.
      2. Users are given the option to re-apply, or not re-apply, holes that were exported to BlastIQ™, loaded with loading rules unsupported by BlastIQ™
      3. New holes, added in BlastIQ™, will be treated as Manually Edited. 

  Fixed

  1. Add holes to the start of multiple existing rows not available. 
  2. Hole table diagram now showing question mark for inferred length where appropriate.
  3. EBS exception indicators not showing for WebGen™ primers after import of encoding information.
  4. Splitting encoding paths causing a duplication of existing encoders.
  5. AVM™ submission error resulting from certain hole locations with respect to the AVM™ domain boundary.
  6. Holes with no in-hole detonator where incorrectly being exported to BlastIQ™ as type: "EBS".
  7. Incorrect surface tie-up validation message.
  8. Connecting an EBS lead in to a harness with Dummy Holes was causing a null object error.
  9. Row Check View showing incorrect slice when checking along non-horizontal lines.
  10. SHOTPlus™ incorrectly reporting changes to holes when importing from BlastIQ™.
  11. Selected holes not recognised in Volume Overview Tool where holes were selected before opening the tool.
  12. Undo not available after importing DXF files via the Standard importer.
  13. Design hole tracks for blastholes were not being adjusted when using the Profile, Pack Rows, or Blast Optimiser tools.
  14. Hole flags were not displaying correctly.
  15. Unhandled error occuring when exporting plans to BlastIQ™ under certain circumstances.
  16. Manually edited holes were having loading rules reapplied when importing from BlastIQ™ under certain circumstances.
  17. Tie in legend was not scaling correctly.
  18. Connectaline™ was incorrectly labelled as 'LIL' in the tie-in pallette.
  19. Transform coordinate function not transforming certain hole objects.
  20. Hole diagram in table view was not showing the outline of wet holes.
  21. 'Actual' hole diagrams not being shown in Hole History.
  22. Blast bound polygons were not being generated correctly when radius was less than half the blast burden.
  23. Fragmentation Calculator generate inaccurate calculations in certain circumstances.
  24. Delay information for Handidet™ type detonators incorrect when exporting surface initiation designs to BlastIQ™. 
  25. Lines added via section view were incorrectly position in certain circumstances.
  26. Row identifier not importing from Logger II .lgf files.
  27. Blank row included at the top of text files generated by the SHOTPlus™ Text Exporter.
  28. Water column in the edit hole dialog displaying an incorrect value under certain circumstances.
  29. DXF exporter was not exporting text entities correctly.
  30. Importing Surpac DTMs was causing and 'Index out of range' error in certain circumstances.
  31. Hole deviation track was appearing as a dashed line and was not printing.
  32. Layer Manager filter causing unhandled exception. This filter was not supposed to be accessible to users and has been removed.
  33. 'Reset to Default' settings in Fragmentation Prediction Tool Results Map not functioning correctly.
  34. Exporting Hole Curve where no holes selected resulting in Unhandled error.
  35. Blast Fragmentation Report title incorrect.
  36. Dry state being set incorrectly in certain circumstances.
  37. 'Wet Hole Unknown Amount' was not able to be edited for a selection of multiple holes.
  38. Surface tie objects were not visible when viewed with an elevation heatmap surface.
  39. Certain tools missing from SHOTPlus™ toolbar when launching a SHOTPlus™ 6 file from an existing SHOTPlus™ instance in Read Only mode.
  40. Drilling Method label was hidden in the Edit Hole dialog.
  41. Unusable dialogs were visible in SHOTPlus™ Standard.
  42. Arrow heads were not being scaled correctly for legacy printing.
  43. The 'Flags' section of the visibility manager was always expanded when opening SHOTPlus™.
  44. Adjusting certain design properties was setting the wet state for holes, locking the design of these holes. This wet state could not be cleared when holes were selected as a group.
