Version 6.21.1 of SHOTPlus™ Beta, first offered to users on Thursday, 21st November 2024.
A notification will appear on start-up in SHOTPlus™ Beta once the update is available.

  New

  1. SHOTPlus™ now supports the "Multiple Hole Comment" functionality in BlastIQ™.1 
  2. SHOTPlus™ now supports "Water After Backfill or Stand-off" measurements from BlastIQ™.2
  3. A new diagram called "HoleDiagramActuals" is now available to be used in reports.
  4. SHOTPlus™ now reads hole comments from the i-kon™ Digital .lgf file.
  5. Users can import multiple monitoring points from a text file via File > Import > Monitoring points.3
  6. Users can export and append WebGen™ device report data to a CSV file.4
  7. Users can import multiple RHINO files via File > Import > Bulk RHINO Data.5
  8. BlastIQ™ Hole GUIDs can now be exported via the Text Export tool.6
  9. KML and KMZ files can be imported into SHOTPlus™, via File > Import > KML/KMZ files.
  10. Users can now compare multiple time envelopes using the Time Envelope Overview tool, found in Calculations > Time Envelope Overview.7
  11. Users can now specify a custom default location for reports and template files. They can be changed via Edit > Program Settings.
  12. SHOTPlus™ now uses BlastIQ™ refresh tokens. Users should see reduced authorisation requests.
  13. Users can select "Mixed Pyrotechnic/EBS Products" from the types of initiation rules to use.
  14. Users can now apply pyrotechnic and EBS products to a hole via manual loading.

    3. The text file must have the X, Y, and Z co-ordinates and the station ID. Existing seed waveform data can be copied to the new monitoring points.
    4. For further information about the WebGen™ device export, refer to the video walkthrough.
    5. Users can select a parent folder where the individual RHINO files are stored and then select which files to process and import.
    6. The plan must be exported to BlastIQ™ so that the hole GUIDs can be created and retrieved from BlastIQ™.
    7. Users are able to select multiple monitoring points, view their time envelope charts in one dialog box, and view the data summary.

  Improved

  1. A BlastIQ™ export error message was updated to include product name.
  2. Encoding paths can be displayed with clockwise or anti-clockwise arrows.
  3. Vibration Analysis now considers arrival times at monitoring points. It has also moved to the View menu.
  4. BlastIQ™ hole GUIDs are now retrieved when a plan is exported to BlastIQ™ for the first time.
  5. When using the Laser Wizard to import hole positions, there is now a checkbox which allows users to apply a row identifier.1
  6. Users are now notified if the number of survey points they have selected meets the requirements for the resection calculation.
  7. Some improvements were made to the survey resection report.
  8. Validation has been improved in graphical loading rules to prevent users specifying loading lengths outside the range.
  9. Some general printing improvements were made, including;
    1. Adjusting "Text Size" in the Print Manager will also adjust the size of hole label.
    2. The line weight for tie-in objects has been increased to improve visibility when printing.
  10. In the Fragmentation Prediction tool, SHOTPlus will now allow data pairs with duplicate passing % values, allowing users to plot the entire fragmentation curve.
  11. Report errors will be logged in log files to facilitate troubleshooting.
  12. Users are now able to name tabs in the Time Envelope tool.2
  13. When importing a plan from BlastIQ™, users can import and map hole and material types where they do not match.
  14. Improved behaviour and handling of holes that were initially laid out using a polygon boundary.
  15. Improved error handling when printing rendered faces.

  Information

    1. To use the row identifier, ensure the "Set row ID from profile number" checkbox is checked before selecting "Process data". If the box is unchecked, hole IDs will not contain a row identifier, i.e. be numerical only. 
    2. To rename a tab in the Time Envelope tool, double click on the tab header to edit its name. 

  Fixed

  1. When importing a plan from BlastIQ™ in SHOTPlus™, holes with products of type "Accessories" were preventing successful import.1
  2. Files with additional WebGen™ holes were causing SHOTPlus™ to crash when re-opened.
  3. An error was being triggered when mapping products in the Text Import tool.
  4. An error was being triggered when "Set Site and Resources" was selected.
  5. SHOTPlus™ was not printing to the user-selected printer in the print manager.
  6. The Blast Summary was being printed too small.
  7. An error was being triggered when attempting to use the "Resection (Beta)" calculation in the Laser Wizard.
  8. SHOTPlus™ could not import air decks with a specified quantity via Text Import.
  9. The Fragmentation Prediction chart was not displaying the legend correctly when more than one curve was displayed.
  10. In Analytics view, some holes were being displayed with black fill when transparent fill was expected.
  11. Settings in the Time Envelope tool were not being saved.
  12. There was an incorrect conversion of Pa to kPa in the Airblast Map.
  13. Filtering on initiation product lists was case sensitive.
  14. SHOTPlus™ was incorrectly referencing product variant IDs for initiators.
  15. An error was being triggered on file save, causing the file to corrupt.
  16. Staggered holes were not being applied when specified when using the Standard Pattern tool.
  17. Measured values for hole collar position were not persisting on file re-open.
  18. The initiation system selection, "*direct initiation by cord*", was incorrectly formatted as unsupported product.
  19. User can select "Mixed Pyrotechnic/EBS Products" from the types of initiation rules to use.
  20. Users were able to create and edit holes with diameter = 0. Minimum hole diameter is now 32mm.

  Information

    1. If a design requires air bags or gas bags as part of the loading design, they should be captured in the loading interface of BlastIQ™ using products of type "Air". For more information, please contact BlastIQ™ Support.
