There has been confusion about the meaning of the columns in the Table tab of the Profile Wizard tool. Below is an explanation of these columns.
- Perp (Perpendicular)
- Perpendicular is the distance from a point down the hole out to the face perpendicular to the design track of the hole and along the slice direction.
- Abs is the minimum distance from the point down the hole to any point along the profile. The profile is the line that is the projection of the design hole track out to the face surface, along the slice direction.
- 3D is the minimum distance from the point down the hole to any point on the surveyed face surface.
