INTRODUCTION
These release notes summarize all the features released for the June quarter of 2019.
Remove Blasts
- There is now the ability for a user to remove a blast
- Only users with read/write access will be able to remove a blast
- To remove a blast:
- Navigate to a blast from the Insights, Site Map, or Blast sections
- Click on Blast Details tab
- Click on Edit button on the top right corner,
- Click on the Remove button at the bottom of the page,
- Confirm
- This will only remove the blast from the BlastIQ applications and there will still be a record in the database. If the blast needs to be restored, it can be done through BlastIQ support
- Future functionality will allow a user to be able to restore a blast that has been removed
Site Map
- The user now can select multiple blasts and then navigate to the multi blast hole visualization page
- To access the blast selection tool in Site Map, click the mouse pointer icon in the bottom right corner of the screen
- Blast center will now be turned off by default when a user goes into the site map
- Visual design updates have been made to the filter slider bars to improve the user experience
- The Seismograph and Measurement information for a blast will now be displayed over the correspondent Monitoring Point when a blast is selected in Site Map.
- If an instrument/measurement is not present for the blast the Monitoring Point won’t be highlighted and display any information.
- The blast bounds color will now vary in shade for: % dipped, % loaded, and % wet
- This view can be accessed from the legend on the right
- Site map layers added in the admin portal can be seen by using the legend on the right. The different layers can be selected using the check boxes
Hole Visualization
- The screen view that the user is on will now persist between hole status and hole view
- There is a new hole deck table view when a hole is clicked
- The hole deck table shows three views: Design, Updated Design and Actual
- The user can tab between holes using the arrows
KPI
- The user now has the ability to enter date and time formatted KPIs instead of just numeric values
- These KPI values will show on the summary and in the table of blasts but only the cost chart will display on the Insights page still
Language
- The user will now be prompted to select a language after login
- They will also have the option of changing a language when they are in the application
- The supported languages are: English, Spanish, French, Russian and Portuguese
Blast Location and Elevation
- The user now can override the calculated blast center location and elevation that gets automatically populated from SHOTPlus
- This can be done by clicking the override checkbox in the edit a Blast Details view
- To get the original calculated SHOTPlus values back, uncheck the override box
- This feature is recommended for blasts directly created in LOADPlus without valid coordinates
SHOTPlus populated fields
- The following fields from the Blast Outcomes section in SHOTPlus will auto-populate into the blast summary from SHOTPlus when you click on the “Export blast details” box when exporting:
- Blaster in Charge, blast type, blast date and time, rock volume, rock type, wind velocity, wind direction and comments.
Coordinates
- The coordinates for lat/long have been changed from showing the hemispheres to just having the user enter the appropriate positive and negative values
Admin Portal
- A link has now been added that allows a user to access the admin portal
- The user may have to enter their credentials again to gain access to the admin portal
- In the admin portal, a user can now upload layers for the site map
- The types of files accpeted are: xol, dxf, png, jpeg, jpg, bmp
