- This article describes how to export or re-export data within the BlastIQ™ Underground Desktop application. It also covers how to import new data, whether it already exists in a project or is not yet included.
Export a new blast to BlastIQ™
To export a new blast to BlastIQ™, follow the steps below.
- Navigate to the Project Manager section and click the "Blasts" dropdown.
- Click on the "Folder" icon to open the data table.
- Modify the plan name if necessary.
- Select the BlastIQ™ dropdown and select "Export".
- Blast name is not editable after exporting.
Re-export a blast to BlastIQ™
To re-export a blast to BlastIQ™ after making changes, follow the steps below.
- Given you want to update, e.g. Hole Tolerance, simply click "Open Hole Types".
- Add values to the tolerances.
- And click the "Save" button when done.
- Select the BlastIQ™ dropdown and select "Export".
- A success message appears, and changes will be visible in BlastIQ™ Mobile.
Import a new data
To import new data about a blast that exists in the project, follow the steps below.
- Navigate to the "Project" tab on the main ribbon.
- Click the "Open" menu.
- Use Windows Explorer to navigate to the correct directory.
- Select the correct.FSE project file and click "Open".
- Navigate to the Project Manager section and click the "Blasts" dropdown.
- Click on the "Folder" icon to open the data table.
- Select the BlastIQ™ dropdown and select "Import".
Import a blast from BlastIQ™
To import a blast from BlastIQ™ that is not yet present in the project, follow the steps below.
- Navigate to the "Project" tab on the main ribbon.
- Select "BlastIQ™".
- The BlastIQ™ Plant list will show all active blasts for a site.
- Click the "Refresh" to get the latest active blasts.
- Open a single blast or multiple blasts.
- Click the "Download Plan" button.
- Click the "Add to project +" button
- A success message will appear.
- The added plan/s should now be listed on the blast lists under the Project Manager section.
- Click on the "Folder" icon to open the data table.
- Select the BlastIQ™ dropdown and select "Import".
